Bruce Pieratt

Patsy, Bruce was very supportive of my efforts to establish the Maj. Gen Marquise de Lafayette Leadership Award for a deserving Lafayette senior. Had this award been in existence when we were students at Lafayette, I am quite positive Bruce would have been awarded this prestigious honor. This award will be given for the first time to a 2026 Lafayette graduate.

I worked with Bruce , and with Frank, Tommy, and Steve. They were all good people. My condolences to the Pieratt folks. Bruce was a good man.

I knew Bruce for many years, primarily being a Pieratt's customer. I always viewed him as a man of high integrity. Rest in peace Bruce!

I read with interest of the recent passing of Bruce Pieratt. I did not know Bruce, but suspect that we are related in some fashion. Our family roots have many starting points in the Ohio and Kentucky region. Our father´ s family of seven siblings was raised in Ohio. We are a small contingent of Pieratt´s in San Diego. I served with General Pieratt´s in the Kentucky National Guard. He was a true gentleman, a great officer, and a loyal friend. Farewell my friend.

Bruce had every right to boast about his life accomplishments, however I have never seen him do it. He was more interested in others, than he was in himself. He always came off as just a regular guy...but a truly rare individual. Laurie and I are saddened by his passing, and we are grateful to have shared time with him.
