Not sure what to say?

So sorry to hear of Bruce´s passing. He was our neighbor at Elk Lake and a great man. We loved talking to him and Judy and missed him once he sold. He had great work stories. He loved to sit on his cabin deck each evening and enjoy the view while he had his evening cocktail. My husband loved spending time with him on all the cabin projects a maintenance. Our lives were richer having known him.

Kammy and Kelly, so sorry to hear of your dads passing. You can add me to the long list of BPAers who were taken under the wing of Bruce. He once told me the the title of "Deputy" (I had recently been promoted to deputy) was the hardest Job in management, but the proving grounds for good managers. I always remember the kind words he had for me when I had difficult times. He as the best at everything he did. -Orion

Bruce was like a father figure in my life he always had yard advice, and we shared 5 riding lawnmowers together so that Always keep us friends taking care of the park

Kammy and family, I am sorry for the loss of your father, I know how close you were. What a great patriarch he was for your family. Take care and thinking of you and yours.

When Kammy and Kelly were girls, I was Kammy's Camp Fire Leader. I'll never forget Bruce. He was the parent I could always count on to take the girls on trips or do whatever was needed. When he would pick Kammy up at my house, he got down on the floor with us and sang or whatever we were doing. Bruce is someone I will always remember for his loving kindness. My thoughts are with you Kammy and Kelly.

Bruce always liked a good discussion and a worthy participant. He had a zest for life and wanted everyone to have a great time. He was so good to children. My children enjoyed skiing with Bruce and being pampered by him. They will forever remember Bruce as their favorite person. We are so thankful for his no-nonsense approach to everything and his bottomless kindness. Bruce is sorely miss.

Hugs to the family. I will always cherish my first years at BPA and working with Bruce. A tough taskmaster with a marshmallow center. One year he brought Easter Baskets for my coworker Debbie´s girls and my daughter Amy. Those years we the best of times, when BPA was a family. Love you Bruce.

Bruce "saved my life" after a particularly stressful trip to Atlanta many years ago. We had a number of travel problems and when we finally got to the hotel, Bruce produced a bottle of gin, olives, and vermouth from his luggage. I have been forever grateful.

I am so sorry in hearing of Bruce´s passing. I worked for and with him many years at BPA. I consider him a true mentor and friend. He had such passion for his job and his family. He loved BPA and being a civil servant. Rest in peace my friend. May the Lord comfort your family and give them peace.
