We met Bruce at and only knew him through the Walnut Valley Festival in Winfield, KS every September, but we loved him and cherished our short times together. Bruce was a special friend and a unique individual. We are sorry for your, and our, loss. Bruce will always hold a special place in our hearts.

I was saddened to hear about Bruce. I have not seen or heard from him since high school, but we had some great times during our growing up years and playing together on the basketball team at Madison. I smile just thinking about him and his antics. Great memories.

Dr. and Mrs. Sampson - you have our condolences on the passing of Bruce. He was a good friend and bright star in our lives and will be very much missed. Especially by our granddaughter, Tierra who loved him very much since they first met approximately fourteen years ago. She couldn't stop crying last night when we had to tell her about Bruce' passing. I understand he did not want a service and that is just like Bruce but whether he wants it or not he will forever remain in our hearts.
