Not sure what to say?

The Starcevic family has many great memories of Bruce and hold a special place for him in our hearts.

Bruce touched so many lives thru the years, more than he even knew I am sure. I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity of working with him for the Rivermen and to take IHL Hockey to San Antonio. Grateful to have had the chance to learn from him about hockey, business and life. My condolences and prayers of peace to your family.

Our sympathies go out to the entire family. I have considered Bruce to be a long time friend of mine. I (Cary) bought my first car from Bruce when they were downtown. The sales document was a one-page hand written receipt. Our hearts go out to Tim and Scott and the whole family. He will be missed but will always be in your hearts.

Our Deepest Sympathy to the entire Saurs family. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.

My heartfelt sympathy to the Saurs' family on the loss of a wonderful person, whom I am very proud to call a brother in Sigma Chi. He did a lot of great things. I had Bruce as a health teacher at PHS and I will never forget he taught me to switch shoes every day. Something small, but at age 74, my feet can still run 6 miles and more without pain. God bless you as you cope with your loss.

Stacy, Mike and the Saurs Family,
We send our sympathy and love to each of you at the passing of this remarkable patriarch. His wonderful legacy lives on through his children, grandchildren and his great-grandchildren and all the scores and scores of people he mentored and helped throughout his life and career.

Wanted you to know that you are in my thoughts and prayers...God Bless You...
Love and hugs,
Teri Perrin Brodbeck xoxo

On behalf of Mom and my sisters, we send our deepest sympathy and prayers to all of the family. We share such fine memories of your Dad (and your Mother). He touched so many lives and was such a great friend to so many. God grant you all peace. Jean, Pam, Lynn, Amy, and Julie (Wolfe)

Wow! I thought Bruce was a great man before I read this. What a great example of a leader. I thank him for giving me the chance to work at the Rivermen and all he did for central IL. He will be missed, but I'm sure he's already brought joy to all in heaven. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
