Not sure what to say?

Bruce and I were housemates at NE 14th in the late 70's. We would spend many hours listening to his vast music collection. He had an uncanny sense for finding the best of the new wave music, e.g. The Police, The Cars, Echo and the Bunnymen, Elvis Costello, etc. I still have the Japanese pressing of The Beatles For Sale you gave me. When we weren't listening to music, we could be found drinking beer at the Produce Row - "two wild and crazy guys looking for foxes". Bruce got a job at KATU-TV...

I am lucky to have some of Bruce's artwork and so I think of him often. He was a good man who died too young.

My sincere sympathies to his family. I remember Bruce for his kindness, love of music, and photography. Bruce and my dear husband ,Robb, could spend hours talking about music. It was always such a pleasure listening to such knowledgeable people with a great passion for music. Bruce was also kind enough to photograph our wedding. Our community lost a wonderful man.

Rick you will be missed. The world is a little less creative today your family will carry forward your legacy. You will be missed.

Bruce, you were my first friend, big brother. We shared many adventures as children. You grew to be an amazing artist, music lover, photographer, father, grandfather, uncle, friend, and were generous to all who knew you. We miss you greatly and wish you peace and happiness. May you be dancing a jig at this moment. We love you.
Your sister, Kathy

The Spirit of Bruce

I met Bruce Sorensen in the early days of Music Millennium. He worked for my husband and I for many years. He was a store manager, an artist who did much of the graphics for our advertising, a great photographer and a really nice man.

He will be missed.

Bruce was such a sincere person. His gentleness, humor and ability to listen were rare qualities. Our frequency of meeting was dictated by happenstance. Sometimes many years would go by and then we would somehow bump into each other. I was always amazed how our friendship would take off from where it was when we had last met. He will be missed. I would like to extend my sympathies to of Bruce's family and friends.
