Not sure what to say?

Bruce was a member of my student group during an AIFS study abroad trip in 1971. As his chaperone I was impressed by his interest in world politics & his level of maturity. He was a delightful member of our group. My deepest sympathy to his family.

"One of a kind" is such an understatement to describe Bruce. What a world this would be if we all had the spirit, humor, and care-free attitude that Bruce displayed. He just wanted people to smile and laugh. You set a great example Bruce Stover. You made wherever you were, a little happier. With your famous display that made you a legend, you reminded people not to take life so seriously. I feel better knowing you and I hope your family knows you put a lot of smiles on a lot of people's...

Dear Sterling and the entire Stover family,

I have fond memories of Bruce. My grandmother, Betsy West was Jerry Stover's cousin. For years, every Thursday was Lunch at Betsy's and Bruce along with his father, Jerry, were occasional guests. He and Jerry often visited my grandfather in the hospital during his battle with lung cancer, which were appreciated by all. Bruce was always polite and was dedicated to his family. He will be missed.

Bruce was a great figure drawing model and I appreciate the classes I had with him at UNT in 1999.

Rest in peace Uncle Bruce. Thanks for not being afraid to be yourself, and for all the great laughs! You will be missed my friend.

Rest in Peace brother Bruce. Great to have known you many years my friend. You always made me smile or laugh.

His embracing of his form always inspired me to be proud and comfortable in my own skin.

Rest In Peace Bruce!

Bruce had a great memory for detail and could recall lots of funny stories from days gone by in our neighborhood. I remember lots of fun times down at Nita and Jerry's, and Bruce was always there, too, sharing in the gathering. Those were good times on Druid Lane - lots of great memories. Bruce was a good son, brother and friend. He will be missed by all.
