Not sure what to say?

My mother was a patient of Dr. Stubbs starting in 1975, when she had her first hip replacement. Over the next 35 years she enjoyed being his patient. She had arthritis and had multiple joints replace. He was always so lovely and caring with her and us. He will be greatly missed.

I am deeply grateful to Dr Stubbs for being my father's valued colleague and my brother's surgeon. My parents would like to express their condolences to Mrs. Mary Paul Stubbs but do not have her current address. They are living in Chelsea in the same house where they have been for 50 years, in case she would like to contact them.

Bruce was one of the best, and a pleasure to spend time with. Always kind, thoughtful , patient, and uplifting. He was an elegant skier, and elegant man, and a very fine doctor and surgeon. Deepest sympathies to his family.

Bruce was a great guy, a superb physician, a challenging golfer, an elegant skier, and a real joy to be around. I had the honor of knowing Bruce over a life time. Bruce was a conscientious and competent physician and surgeon. He was a medical staff asset at St Joe’s Hospital and will be missed. Condolences to family and friends.

Sending my love and prayers to my Uncle Bruce's family, so sorry for your loss. He sounds like a very smart man who gave his all to help others.

Love his Niece Ruth (his brother Jim's oldest daughter.

Our heartfelt condolences to Mary and family. We are the couple who sat behind you and Bruce at Hill Auditorium for several seasons of UMS concerts. We always enjoyed seeing you both. Rest in peace, Bruce.

Dr. Stubbs was truly a lovely man and a great surgeon, who just happened to be my favorite. (Smile, for the few of you who may remember me!)
I really thought he was a great doctor and fabulous human. I lost my husband two years ago, seems like yesterday, I am so sorry for this loss to all.

Bruce was the kindest and most thoughtful person, a good friend and an outstanding physician.
He was always working to improve his game no matter if it was his practice, his operative procedures or his golf game which he took up near the end of his career.
He was an uncanny squash player and a graceful skier who made any slope look calm and easy.
His presence in our practice improved the quality of everyone’s effort.
I have missed his calm intensity the last few...
