18Aug21 I was stunned when I was told that Bruce had passed to a place that has no wants. He instilled in my grandson that never quit attitude, but Bruce left a piece of himself with every student, but especially so, with the autistic children. My grandson who is 24 now, is devastated and mourns the loss of a teacher and friend. Of course, my condolences go out to the family, but take solace in one of my quotes. In loving memory of Dr. Thomas who fulfilled his life’s mission driven by love and now is with LOVE. Yet untold future generations of families will be better off because of Dr. Thomas’ Vision to create AEA. I am so thankful for his life and dedication to the children.

I am deeply saddened by the untimely loss of Dr Thomas. This has been a time of enormous loss for our family too. Dr. Thomas's kindness, enthusiasm, and positive attitude helped my daughter to grow into a dedicated student.

I meet Dr. Thomas when he was just starting to create the vision of AEA and although I went to register my son I walked away with a job. That was his nature he really had a heart and passion for the youth and that is what drew me to this school. I want to let his family know I will continue to pray for strength through this difficult time and to stay encouraged and know his legacy will continue with every child that will leave a imprint on society because he took a chance. I never had the pleasure of meeting Bruce but, my sons grew up with and are friends with his son Chase. I also, have know Chase for a long time and would like to extend my deepest sympathy to the Thomas family for their loss.
