Not sure what to say?

Lived down the street from Bruce on Desert Steppes Drive when they were on Eli or the next one down. Sorry for your loss Bruce was a good friend

I use to hang out with Bruce when we were very young men. Always remember his story of hitch hiking somewhere like Montana or some such place, middle of nowhere, and another friend of his came driving by in his VW beetle. Whenever I've thought of that story it reminds me how close our world really is. He had some of the best stories like that and I'm sorry we drifted apart. He was a great guy and friend. To his family all my condolences. Vaya con Dios amigo.

I am sorry for the loss. I remember Katie and knowing Bruce from Sahauro High School. I did not have many friends there, but Bruce, his mother and father were always welcoming and kind to me. I will always remember camping in the mountains, the desert. eating green corn tamales at his parents house, among other adventures in AZ, TX, and LA.

Hello,

I am a very old friend (girlfriend) of Bruce's from the 70's. He was my first boyfriend and we lived together on Thurber Lane for about five years. He was a great boyfriend. He was always kind to people (except himself). We had many adventures in camping and hiking. I went through my old letters and notes and photos. I am sooooo sad that he went so early.
I do have some great old photos. I need to scan them but will send them to anyone that wants copies. The skinny old...

Bruce did some tile work in my Mom's house many years ago. As a matter of fact, he announced his son was born and his name was Axel. The name was a great choice for Bruce because he was such a unique person and I knew his son would be special too. Axel, I never met you but your Dad was so proud of you right from the start. I lost my father about 2 years ago and it is very hard to deal with. Just keep him close to your heart and mind, remember all the things you loved about him and you will...

From the US Festival in Calfornia to the Grateful Dead in Santa Fe and everywhere in between I spent many a day cracken 'em with Bruce in the 1980s and they are some of my favorite memories. I am very saddened that he is gone and wish all the best to Axel and those that were close to him when he passed. Jeff

Dear Axel,

I was so sorry to here about your father. I did not know Bruce that well, but all experiences I had with him were very enlightening, and caused me to have a respect for your dad that I don"t for many people. I hope you remember that I see, [as others do] that those amazing qualities live on in you.
Axel, I know what it"s like to lose your dad, and please, if you ever need an impartial ear, or help with anything, you got my number.
