Not sure what to say?

Such a wonderful, gentle, knowledgeable and hardworking colleague. I think of him often. It´s like I can still see him crossing the Cosby parking lot. He will never be forgotten! KPL.

My heart just skipped several beats as I'm just learning this news. Crushing! I knew Dr. Wade as both a student, alumna and former employee. Thankful that we had time to engage with one another.

When I heard the news about Dr. Wade, I was devastated. He was kind hearted, an amazing mentor, a second father and an invested professor. His laugh was infectious and he always had his door open for anyone who needed to talk. I thank him for supporting me, thank you for the memories, and thank you for leaving your handprint in my heart. To his wife and children, I am praying that your memories of him bring you peace and comfort. Know that he was loved by many. Rest well and in peace.

My condolences to Dr. Wade's family. He was a wonderful teacher and mentor. "Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him."

Dr. Wade was one of my favorite professors at Spelman. He classes were always informative and entertaining. He will be missed. My condolences to the Wade family.

Ah-ha moments happen when you least expect them. They change your mindset and have the power to change your life. I had my first ah-ha moment while taking a Medical Sociology class at Spelman College with Dr. Wade. This class introduced me to the world of public health and encouraged me to pursue a career in the field.

I always wanted to do something health related, but wasn't sure where I fit in as a sociology major. My "ah-ha" moment back in 1999 and motivation from Dr....

We send our heartfelt condolences to your family and may you find comfort in the these words" Happy are those who mourn, since they will be comforted."-Matt 5:4.

I was so sorry to hear this news. Dr. Wade believed in me when I didn't believe in myself. He was truly a mentor for his students. My prayers are with his family.

Prayers for Bruce's loving family.

Condolences and prayers to Bruce's family. What a blessing to have known Bruce - first as his student and later, his colleague. Rest in perpetual peace, my dear friend.
