I am deeply saddened to learn of Bruce's illness and passing. I send my deepest condolences to his family and friends. His work on moral responsibility and free will inspired my return to grad school and his mentorship enabled me to develop as a philosopher and human being. Mary. I just read of Bruce's passing. I am so very sorry. His sister was my dearest friend and I miss her each and every day. My condolences to you and your family.

I was in graduate school with Bruce and remember him well as a very kind and decent person, as well as an excellent philosopher. The world is diminished by his loss.
