Not sure what to say?

What can I say about the man who inspired me to become a Meteorologits? He enjoy his life and his family to the fullest. He will be missed by many.

I posted a picture of him at:

It was taken this past January 2004.

My dad's curiosity on nature and weather knew no bounds. Some of my earliest memories are traveling with my dad during roadtrips in the 70's when he did a lot of field work throughout Minnesota. Noticing the connections among all things between the earth and sky, my dad's observations came not through his eyes but from the heart. The conversations we had together will forever influence my life.

Who can't help but know and feel that this guy immersed his heart completely and...

Bruce was my brother-in-law. It was somewhere around 1957 when I first met this young man who was soon to marry my sister Louise. One thing that I remember is his morning ritual of his cup of coffee and deep concentration while he read the New York Times. Bruce was one person that loved to have a conversation. He could hold one with anybody on any subject. My wife is still amazed at his uncanny ability to retain all the dates and historical happenings. Unfortunately, we did not see much of...

Cousin Bruce was one of those cousins you never forget. Always the rebel, I admired his fiercly independant style from an early age. (We Menards are a bit that way ourselves) He was always like "here I am -- like me or don't like me, I really don't care!" You have to respect that!
He will be missed sorely at family reunions and holidays, as he was always a guy I sought out and looked forward to talking with.

It was also good knowing he took his last Leinenkugel's -...

I will always remember Bruce Watson as a truely 'Larger than Life' sort of person. His smile, his sheer love of life, were remarkable.
My deepest sympathy to Louise, Agatha and all the other Watsons.

Bruce Watson was my Godfather, my 1st cousin, and a good friend. My mother, Rosemary Korger Menard, was a sister to Bruce's mother, Agatha Korger Watson. Bruce and my mother were always close.
Bruce and his great ability to talk about anything will be missed especially around the campfire this summer. We plan to continue to get together with Bruce's family at the lake on Labor Day weekend as we have done in the past.
Bruce had a insatiable natural curiousity which led to his...

Bruce Watson was my Dad and my Hero.
I was fortunate enough to tell him that over the phone while he was in the hospital, but of course I had no idea we wasn't coming home at the the time (or I would have said it in person). All of us were fotunate enough to have spent a lot of time with our Dad (or Grandfather) before he unexpectedly got sick.
He is still my hero, he continues to give me strength, and he is still the wind beneath my wings.
I love you Dad.
Forever....

Dear Louise, Valerie, Bruce, Frank and Ed...I was saddened to learn of Bruce's death last week. I am so very sorry. He was a good friend and neighbor. I know he will be greatly missed by all of you, his grandchildren and his extended family. May God keep you in his loving care. Ruth (Ettsevold) Quimby

We are very sorry to hear of Bruces death. We are in Texas so wish to extend our sympathy to the family. Enjoyed being neighbors of the Watson in Roseville
