Bruce will be missed by many people who he inspired in their Christian faith. Geneva and I were members of Gloria Dei only a few years before Bruce retired but were blessed by his kindness and sincerity. I also appreciated the opportunity to get to know Karel who will greatly miss Bruce and the great companionship they shared with each other.
With Sympathy,

My life has been richly blessed by Bruce.....starting with his call to Bethany Lutheran in Howard SD where he confirmed me, next in Vermillion SD when I was at USD, next as my parents were a part of his original mission group in starting Gloria Dei here in Sioux Falls and then when he was the first to come to our family when my father Robert Ellsworth passed away. We are so blessed to have been a part of his life.

Although we have not seen Bruce and Karel for many years they are always in our thoughts and prayers. We are so blessed that...
