Not sure what to say?

I met Bruce at a gig in Rochester NY in '87 or '88. He was very gracious to talk to this aspiring player who was awestruck at the music they were making at that time. God rest his soul.

Dear Gerri, Sarah et all,
Just found this out, and I am so very sorry to hear of Bruce's passing, and send deepest condolences.
From the moment I introduced you both, way back when, I knew it would be a great and forever kind of thing!
So many fond memories...and sad that we lost touch.
Since it's been so long, I have no idea how to reach anyone, so I send this heartfelt message here.
Farewell Bruce, You will be missed.

Bruce was crazy and patient enough to give me guitar lessons in the early 1970's. He scouted out an amazing hollow bodied Fender guitar and a well traveled amplifier that punched my ticket to artist appreciation. I can still feel his foot tapping, beard stroking rhythmic bliss. I was shocked to see this post, but truly glad he led such a full life.

Bruce and I were friends at EKU but lost touch when he did not return for our senior year. I had wondered how he was doing and if he had succeeded in accomplishing his goals in life.I see from his obituary that he did that and more and must have had an extraordinary life. In sympathy.

Such fond memories of Bruce when I taught at Moravia. He will be missed.

It was my great pleasure to have met and spent even the shortest amount of time with Bruce. I was thankful and encouraged by him in my late-blooming adventures in songwriting and music. Bruce, you will be missed.

I knew Bruce back when I was dating his brother Chris in high school. He was a great guy. My condolences to his family and to Gilda whom I knew way back when.
