Chicopee- Bruno Klimczak, 68, passed away at his home in Chicopee on April 8, 2024.  A son of the late Marian and Irena (Krystkiewicz) Klimczak, Bruno was born in Coueron, France, on October 6, 1955 on St. Bruno’s Day.  The family immigrated to the United States when he was a child, eventually settling in the Springfield area.  Bruno was a graduate of Chicopee Comprehensive High School and worked for Westfield Electroplating Company, prior to his retirement.  He is survived by his sister, Maria “Mary” Christy and her partner, Kevin Wright, of Chicopee, and his brother, Michel Klimczak and his wife, Helen, of W. Springfield.  Bruno’s family would also like to his neighbors, Miguel and Mary, Jonathan and Ashley, and Poppo and Dolly for always being there for him and keeping an eye on Bruno, and to his “Irish” friend Gary, for bringing Bruno to all of his appointments.   Friends and family are invited to attend visiting hours, to be held on Sunday, April 21, 2024 from 2:00 to 5:00pm at Corridan Funeral Home, 333 Springfield St., Chicopee.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Dakin Animal Shelter, 171 Union St., Springfield, MA 01105 or TJ O’Connor Animal Shelter, 627 Cottage St., Springfield, MA 01104.  For online condolences, please visit www.CorridanFuneral.com
