Lewis E. Wint and Son Funeral Home - Clarkston Obituary

BRUMBAUGH, Bryan Keith of Waterford, formerly of Akron, Ohio, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family on July 30, 2024, after a courageous battle with cancer, age 58.

Husband of Barbara, father of Keith and Kelly Brumbaugh, son of Keith Brumbaugh and Mary Mills (William Lucas), brother of Brad Brumbaugh, Billy (Connie) Mills, Daniel (Rachele) Mills and Darin (Krista) Mills, special uncle of Nicholas Brumbaugh, and many additional nieces and nephews, dearest companion of Julie Brown and her son, Zac Brown, and he was a dear family member and friend of many.  Bryan was preceded in death by his brother, Brett Brumbaugh and stepfather, Donald Mills.

Bryan was born and raised in Akron, Ohio. In 1997, working as an electrician, he had the opportunity to move to Michigan and pursue his career. A short time later he opened Community Electric, which he has owned and operated since, with the help of many dedicated and loyal employees and customers, who have become like family. Bryan was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt, and fish. He enjoyed water sports, boating, rooting for Ohio State, and was a loyal Detroit Lions fan, and season ticket holder for many years. Bryan’s biggest achievement is that of his children, and he could not be prouder of them!

Friends may visit Lewis E. Wint & Son Funeral Home, Clarkston on Sunday, August 4th from 4:30 pm to 7:00 pm. A Memorial Service will be held in Ohio, at a later date. Memorials may be made to Barbara Brumbaugh for the care and education of Bryan’s children.

Bryan’s family would like to thank Julie Brown for her love, kindness, support and care for Bryan throughout his illness.
