Not sure what to say?

Dell was my colleague at the University of New Haven and I had the opportunity to mentor his teaching. He was a great teacher and he was always bubbling with enthusiasm and energy. I will miss the long chats we had after our classes. He was always very proud of his family and children. My heartful of sympathies and condolences to his family.

Please accept our condolences on Dell's passing. We worked with him many years ago and will always remember his always happy and positive attitude. He was a kind soul and he will be missed.

Ginny,
I just learned of your husband's passing. My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family during this time of sorrow.

Love,
Betsy Schady

I think back to the time that we first really spoke, we were on our way to the beach. Up until then I had not realized that we had anything in common and what a nice pleasant person you were. Dell, you were there the fist time my daughter played in the sand and ran her little feet through the ocean. I will always remember that day. Whenever we go back to the beach and as I watch my daughter, summer after summer, play in the sand and start to swim in the ocean I will forever be reminded of...

Dell was such a gentle sweet soul, well-loved and genuinely concerned about others' welfare. He will be missed by all of us from 162 Eighth Street. Condolences to his family.

Dell's enthusiasm, optimism and his great, great laugh always made me smile when he entered a room. Know that the best of Dell lives on in all of us with whom he shared his Life so openly.

Over-riding my sadness are my many memories of Dell, which, even now, still make me smile every time I think of him.

I will miss the occassional long and interesting conversations over coffee at Greene's and Kream. You always smiled. You always cared about those less fortunate than yourself. You always expressed pride in your family. You'll always be in our hearts.

Dell was a wonderful man. I enjoyed his enthusiasm and energy. He was absolutely dedicated to his students. It was a pleasure to work with him at UNH. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family.
