Not sure what to say?

I am a little late in getting a note sent out, but I want to thank everyone who attended the Memorial Gig on May 21. Thank you for being there! We appreciate your support! It was a good show. A good tribute to Bryan, as well as a reunion for all those involved in, or affected by, the crash. About 100 people turned out for the event. Special thanks to all those who participated in the gig: John, Cathy, Karina, Amanda, Heather, Landon, Russ, Jared, Doug, DeAnn, Amy, Barney, and the Drum...

I knew Bryan when he visited Laurie and I in the Bay Area. He always seemed to be exploring places and on the go. I remember one time he rode BART to San Francisco at night and walked across the Golden Gate Bridge and back, just to experience it for himself. Even though I only knew him a couple of years, he will be missed.

a spunky kid who loved life, learning, and music. sad to see him go but short as his life was he lived every moment to the fullest so its hard to feel that he missed anything.love ya kid nate

Just a reminder that the Memorial Gig is May 21 at Mack Park. Please save the date! It's still in the planning stages, but a number of people have expressed interest so there should be some good performances. We are trying to make it an upbeat event that celebrates Bryan's life and his love of music. Should be some good music, and I think it will be quite the show! We'd like to include and invite anyone that wants to participate. For more information, please contact [email protected].

It was an honor to have known Bryan. I was his teacher, but he became my friend. I am a better teacher, person, friend and mother because of him. Thanks Bryan!

I only knew Bryan as the little blonde brother of John, but all of my memories of him make me smile. He was so sweet, curious, energetic and always so busy! Making a fort, a tree house, his latest invention - anything that involved creativity, imagination and nature. He was a very happy kid, the world was his oyster. I wish I could have had the opportunity to know him as an adult, I'm sure he was an amazing man. I'm so sorry to hear this news and my thoughts go out to the Doxsees.

I have been thinking about your family alot these last couple of weeks. I am a sister-in-law to Britney who was friends with Bryan. I never knew Bryan, but as a mother I can only imagine what the loss of a child would feel like. I wish I could wrap my arms around you and tell you that I am so sorry for this loss and help carry you through. I guess all I can do is pray for you and hope that you will be comforted.

Blessings and tranquility...
I remember Bryan when he was a little kid. He always had an admirable twinkle in his eyes and a very open heart. I would hang out with my best friend John (Bryan's bro.) at his house during high school ('95-98), and Bryan was always so eager to share his energy with me. He was always working on or playing with something cool in his room or in the yard at the Menlo Park house. But what I remember that sticks out, is he was always doing something very...

I also want to thank everyone who has posted messages here; your words about Bryan, every insight into his life, is important to me. And I want to thank Britney's family for reaching out to us; your words here have been of great comfort to our family. I am relieved to hear that Britney's condition is slowly but surely improving. We have not heard from the other occupants who were in the car and are concerned about them. Stephen and Megan, if you see this message, please contact me... I...
