Graf, Bryan Cartmell
Jun. 18, 1955 - Dec. 2, 2014
Bryan C. Graf was born at Ft. Belvoir, VA, and spent his first years in Arlington, VA. His Army family moved permanently to Venice, Fl. except for his dad who was assigned overseas prior to his retirement. Bryan courageously lost his battle with cancer. His many talents started showing up early, he was able to fix all kinds of things. He attended many schools for many types of equipment including motorcycles. Later, he opened what turned out to be a very popular small engine repair shop. His motto was, 'Best work, Best Price, Best timing'. He went into the Army for several years . He was assigned to a Pershing Missile Battery in Germany during his overseas tenure. Back in the U.S., he went to work for the Coach House, where he immediately saw that relocating some of the components would save the owners a lot of money, which they adopted. He was doing what he loved-installing electronics and equipment. He retired with health problems. He leaves his beloved mother Anne of Venice; brothers, LTC Robert B. Graf of Nokomis and William Randolph (Randy) Graf, now of Dallas, Texas and long-time friend , Karen Pucillo. A burial service will be held Tuesday, December 9, 2014 1:00 PM at Sarasota National Cemetery. Toale Brothers Funeral Home Ewing Chapel is in charge arrangements.

Bryan, i was never friends with you in school but I had a secret crush on you. I always saw in you: mellow, kind and caring. When i gave birth to my son,we could not agree on a name.I told my husband; i want to give him a name that means gentle, kind and caring. I actually thought of you (my crush, haha)I named my son Bryan.and he is kind, gentle and caring.good bye for now.(you were so cute).
