GRESHAM, Bryan, 85, of Richmond, passed away on July 8, 2010. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Lavina Gresham; children, Anthony Gresham, Meg Gresham, Betsey (Kyle) Burbank, and Barbara ( Marty) Monteith; grandchildren Josiah, Abraham, Malachi, and Isaiah Burbank, and Kelly and Ryan Monteith. After retiring from a career in actuarial consulting, Bryan became an active, enthusiastic member of the Writers' Roundtable. Visitation will take place at Woody Funeral Home, Parham Chapel on Saturday, July 10 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. A memorial service will be held at Third Presbyterian Church, 600 Forest Ave., on Sunday, July 11 at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Virginia Home for Boys and Girls.

bryan grasham - Vi, my condolences to you and your family. i remember bryan so well. he and lee layton were such good friends and pilars of the writer's round table. they were both a lot of fun. i always look for bryan's letters to the editor but hadn't seen them for a while. we were on vacation and did not see the notice until today when we returned. I am sorry i wasn't here.
