Bryan Christian Holsonbake March 20, 1979 ---May 18, 2013 Bryan passed away Saturday May 18th, 2013 in the Paso Robles area. He was born in Bakersfield CA. and attended North High School. He was employed by Kenai Drilling, where he was well liked and much respected for his knowledge of the drilling operations and his abilities as a derrick man. Bryan was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Virgil Lee. He is survived by his two beautiful daughters, Kylee Rheanne, and Lilly June and his step son Jordan; his wife Rikki; his mother Peggy Holsonbake, all of Bakersfield, CA; his dad Michael Holsonbake; and grandparents David & Barbara Holsonbake of Creston, CA; his Grandmother Carroll Garrido of Fresno, CA; his brother Chase of San Luis Obispo, CA; step brothers Paul Holsonbake of Glenville, CA, Johnny Cash and Richard Cash of Bakersfield, CA; and many other family members and a very special friend, Karin Loftus of Paso Robles. Bryan will be fondly remembered by many, for his devotion to NA., and dedication to working out at the gym, developing and maintaining a strong and healthy body. He had a wonderful sense of humor. As a child he was ready and able to defend his brothers against any aggressor. He was a special individual who will not soon be forgotten, and will be greatly missed by many. He was an avid reader and had read many books, and read the bible frequently. Bryan was a hard worker but mostly he had a big heart. Bryan's heart has touched so many and will forever be in our memory. A memorial service will be held at North Side Community Church, 3331 Calloway Dr. Bakersfield, CA. I only had the pleasure of meeting you twice, at the Lake's home. You were so nice and quite funny! It was then, I realized, where your oldest daughter got her attitude and silliness from! :) All my prayers and thoughts are with your Mother, and the rest of your family, during this very difficult time.
