Bryan and I met in 8th grade and immediately became good friends. Bryan Lucky and I became best friends through high school, at Leto high school in Tampa, FL. We both attended Town n' Country baptist church I Tampa, FL. After September 11th, Bryan decided to join the military. He told me that he taught the word of God with his fellow soldiers and everybody he came in contact with. We both had prayer every morning in our school library. This is the 1st time hearing of Sgt Luckey's passing as I was deployed myself at the same time. We went to Leto together. He was always a sweet and kind young man. My thoughts and prayer go out to his family. I am so sorry for your loss.

Sgt. Bryan Luckey, I just read about you today and Your story of courage and bravery touched my heart and I want to tell you how extremely grateful I am for your service to our country. I never knew you but my heart is heavy. What an extraordinary young man. America needs more men like you. You are with The Lord now and and our loss is Heaven's gain. God bless you and your precious family.

Just wanted to say Thank you to Sgt. Luckey and his family for his ultimate sacrifice. My sincere condolences.

Bryan, it was a pleasure serving with you. You always had a smile on your face and made those around you better, including myself. You will never be forgotten.
