Bryan Orlanda Mitchell

Dr. Mitchell, I was your student at AMC between 2012-2014 before AMC was declared a 4 year university, before you became Dr., and before you were a Dean. You were very passionate about Biology 1101 and although strict, you only accepted the best. You helped me when I struggled in my studies to move forward and achieve my degree when during that time life was challenging for me. Thank you and I pray that the Most High God brings your family peace.

Please accept our deep condolences on Dr. Bryan Mitchell's untimely death. May his kind and gentle soul rest in perfect peace. Bryan served briefly as the Special Assistant to the Provost in 2023. His presence, smile, and genuine willingness to help made our office better. We called him "the Good Reverend" for his patience and his earnest display of his faith in action. He will be missed.
