Not sure what to say?

Bart was truly a class act that represented the best character of professional athletes in his time. His example of character and leadership will hopefully live on in others that attempt to follow in the same kind of path. The loss of Bart is felt among all of us. He will live on in all of us as we move forward. Our prayers and thoughts go to the Starr family.

Prayers for the family..

My sincere condolences go out to Bart's family. I think Bart was the most amazing man and always so nice to me whenever he came through my line in PUBLIX. This whole family is the best I love this family and my heart aches at such a great loss. R I P Bart Start

Bart, your exemplary life has been a guiding light for all who have had the good fortune of knowing you. I am proud to have a class mate of you and Cherry.

My deepest condolences to the Starr family. I remember Mr. Starr as a little girl in the Birmingham area, when he had a car dealership called Bart Starr Lincoln Mercury. I loved the jingle(I would sing it as loud as I could... my own version of course)during his commercials. I was going to buy my first car from there when I grew up, needless to say the dealership moved on. Mr. Starr will be greatly missed. He had the best smile and I could tell that he really loved everybody. Rest in Peace...

I had the honor of meeting MR. Starr several years ago and he was wonderful.
My deepest sympathy at your loss.

We are soooo sorry to hear of your passing. It was an Honor to have your autographed football merchandise in the Sporting Goods Dept. For many years. An seeing you at the National Sporting Goods Shows. RIP in the arms of God. Your Family members an friends that passed before you. You will be missed Sir.

Rest in peace, Mr.Alabama!!!!!

R.I.P. Mr. Starr, You're the reason I'm a football fan and a Crimson Tide and Green Pay Packer fan. Always wanted to be able to meet you and now it's too late. Thanks for all the wonderful memories you've given to all of us. Have never heard one shred of negativity about you and reading everything that your friends and family and fans have written since last week only proves what kind of class act man you were. R.I.P. again to you sir. B. Mitchell Morris, Alabama
