Chris, I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your Father. I will always have happy memories when thinking of him. The man, the myth, the legend, Coach Francis. You and yours are in my prayers.

I am a DHS graduate of the class of 1988. I knew Trevor well and of course I also knew Coach... I am so sorry for your loss. Great family!

Shaye and Chris and Families I just wanted you both to know I was thinkig of you all and remembering to the days we all shared when I Babysat for you all and all the fun we had. Hold each other close as you did when you were little and I know you will make it through the days ahead. i am sorry I didn't know sooner or I would have been there.

I'll never forget Coach's sense of humour. When the Junior High burned down and it was such a trying time for everyone, Coach was always the first face you'd see in the morning, smiling and rallying everyone together. I remember harassing him for wearing clip-on ties so I bought him some "real" ties for the Washington Trip. He laughed & laughed over that.
Coach was one of a kind. He'll be missed. I extend my thoughts and prayers to his family during this difficult time.

My thoughts and prayers are with you. Your dad was a big influence on a lot of kids growing up in Deland, me included. I will always have fond memories of "Block".
