Bryce E. Loomis passed away Sunday, June 20, 2004 at his home in Cadillac. He was 52. Bryce was born March 14, 1952 in Cadillac, Michigan to Edward and Leah (Peterson) Loomis. He was in the United States Army for ten years and served in Vietnam. He married Ruth Wegner November 15, 2002 in Cadillac. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time with his children and grandchildren. Survivors include his wife Ruth of Cadillac; daughter Angela Huffer of Kokomo, Indiana; son Jeffrey Loomis of Kokomo, Indiana; daughters Jessica Cole of Ludington and Casey (Bill) Currier of Sturgis; 12 grandchildren, stepbrother David (Robin) Childs of Cadillac. He was preceded in death by his parents. Services are 1 PM Wednesday, June 23, 2004 at Hitesman Holdship Funeral Home in Cadillac with Rev. Joseph Schichtel officiating and a full military service by Cadillac Honor Guard. Visitation will be 7-9 Tuesday and again from 11 AM until time of the service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
Very late I know , but , I just found out. Bryce and I were best friends when we were young. He was drummer in our band. I have nothing but good thoughts of him, and the world is a lesser place without him.
