Bryce David Overlot

DECATUR - Bryce David Overlot, 23, of Decatur, passed away from injuries sustained in an automobile accident at 9:43 p.m. June 29, 2007, in Decatur Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 3, 2007, at Dawson & Wikoff Funeral Home, Mt. Zion with Rev. Ron Barrick officiating. Burial will be in Rosemond Grove Cemetery, Rosamond, IL. Visitation will be from 5 till 8 p.m. Monday evening in the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Overlot Memorial Scholarships or Decatur Memorial Hospital Foundation. Messages of condolence may be sent to the family via email c/o www.dawson-wikoff.com. Bryce was born August 18, 1983, in Decatur the son of David L. and Cindy D. (Dorris) Overlot. He was a 2002 graduate of Mt. Zion High School and a graduate of Midwest Technical Institute. He was employed as a heating and air conditioning technician for Air King Inc. He was a member of the United Methodist Church. Surviving is his parents: Dave and Cindy Overlot of Decatur; brother: Sean Overlot of Bloomington; sister: Brittany Overlot of Decatur; paternal grandmother: Marge Overlot of Bethany; maternal grandmother: Judy Stroyeck and her husband Mike of Bethany; maternal grandfather: Chester Dorris of Harrisburg, IL; great grandmother: Jean Brewer of DuQuoin, IL; and his Aunt: Lori Archer of Villa Grove, IL. His paternal grandfather Francis "Buzz" Overlot and his uncles Mike Overlot and Jim Archer preceded him in death.
