Thinking of you today Brynn. 9 years ago last night I had the privilege to re-enlist you at our combat outpost and I remember how excited you were for the future. I remember the following morning heading to FOB Falcon, not more than 12 hours after your ceremony and getting the word over the radio that we had someone hit at the COP who was on guard duty. We turned around and got there a few minutes later a very sad day. It was a privilege to know you and honor to serve with you.

I know I missed writing here on your birthday this year. But I thought of you on the 2nd. I think of you and Matt everyday. I hope one day I will be able to live up to your and Matt's expectations. i was ill with strep throat over memorial day and not able to send you my thoughts for the day i was thinking off brynn and you there is never a week that goes by
that i'm not reminded about brynn it is either a song on
the radio scripture in the bible or jean and i talking
about brynn and his wonderful personality
as you know we have a brynn in our family he 2 has a
wonderful personality our memories are deep in our
hearts we love brynnn...

Another Memorial Day went by. You and Baylis give a new meaning to that day. There is never a day that doesn't go by that I don't think of you. You'll always be my brother.
