James Duncan "Buddy" Baldwin, 88, resident of 1421 East Cambridge Avenue, husband of Mary June Harper Baldwin for 60 years, died April 22, 2015 at Hospice House. Born August 17, 1926, in Greenwood, he was a son of the late Duncan McTyeire Baldwin and Nora McKellar Baldwin. He was a graduate of Greenwood High School and was a 1950 graduate of Clemson College, earning a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Engineering. He was a US Army Veteran of World War II and the Occupation of Japan. Mr. Baldwin retired as manager of Wrights Pulpwood Agency after more than 30 years of service. He was a member of Mt. Lebanon United Methodist Church. Surviving, in addition to his wife of the home, are a daughter, Lynn and husband Ron Sparks of Seneca; a son, Randy and wife Helena Baldwin of Greenwood; a sister, Idalyn Spooner of Franklin, NC; a step-grandson, Brandon Taylor of Greenwood. He was predeceased by his only grandson, Tye Baldwin. Graveside services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday at Oakbrook Memorial Park, with Rev. Bobby Gilbert officiating. The family is at the home on East Cambridge Avenue and will receive friends at the cemetery immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Mt.
