Not sure what to say?

Worked with Buddy for several years with Spalding. Great times, great fellowship, still a number of friends I keep up with! Buddy was and remains , in my memories, the consummate Southern gentleman, A true son of the South, and an example of the best of that type. Iremember in the days of CB radio, Buddy drove a Trans Am , and his " handle" Grey Ghost represented his pride in his heritage. One of his fondest pastimes was to hear "Dixie" sung like a hymn at Ole Miss games! Great times, great...

So special to receive a reminder from Legacy with Buddy’s picture. I do think of him often and the role he played in shaping my life. My father loved him like a brother.

Now Buddy and Bob Travis will be an unbeatable 4-ball team in heaven!

Lauran & Family,
I am at a loss for words. I knew Buddy back when I was a young man in my 20's and he was a man that I admired very much
as the perfect, charming, professional salesman for Spalding's Professional Golf Sales Force. That goes back to the early 1970's. Fast forward to the later years of each of our two lives and he had not changed any at all. Luran, look for him to be at the Rainbow Bridge like I told you....Buddy, was a fine and wonderful person to be around. ...

Luran,

Peg and I just today heard the news about Buddy (from Wendell Couch). It goes without saying, I hope, that you and the family will be in our hearts and our prayers. I t was really clear that Buddy had found with you a great life and a wonderful partner. I wish we all had much more time to share with him. I shall miss him sorely.

With our love, God bless

Jim and Peg Todd, Lufkin, Texas

Luran and Family

Buddy and I had been friends since the late 60's with both being in the golf industry and reconnected several years ago to talk about old times and friends. I'll miss my good friend. Buddy was very thoughtful and caring toward his friends and will certainly be missed but the good memories will always remain. Buddy is booking us tee times in Heaven!

Our prayers are with you in this time of grief and sadness

Luran,
As you may know, Buddy and I reconnected this past year when he discovered my address through mutual high school friends. As youthful friends we shared many of the same interests. My prayers will be with you in your time of grief in losing your life partner, friend, and husband.

Love in Christ,

John Skipper

Luran,
I was so sorry to learn of Buddy's death. Please accept my sincere condonences and best wishes.
Hugh

Oh Luran, I'm so sorry about this loss.
Am remembering you at this stressful, sorrowful time.
