Buddy Lee Dukes

We new and were friends with Bud and Virginia in the early 70's in Flint and lost track after leaving Michigan in the mid 70's. Our condolences to his loved ones as we read of his passing today.

You will be missed and not forgotton, your light will shine in any one who has ever met you. You were the kindness man my mom could have ever been with.

You will be missed never forgotton, I can still hear your voice telling me, "oh dawna " when I surprised you and my mom after leaving alaska and showed up on your guys front porch. My husband, Irv, met Bud when Hazel was teaching Sunday School and both boys were in elementary school. Their friendship lasted for thirty years, or so, until Bud moved and we lost track of him. Our young families spend a lot of time together and Bud would cut our hair. He gave our youngest daughter her first pair of barber shears. Enjoyed listening to his playing in various bands and just thoroughly enjoyed being around him. Will miss the idea of him still being in this...

We were so sad to hear of Buddy's passing....My husband Sam played in Great Lakes Express @ the T-bird with him
We tried to find him again but did not realize he had moved so far.
Our prayers are with you & we will miss him.
