Not sure what to say?

Sorry to hear of his passing. I was always impressed by His talent. Buddy was a couple years ahead of in school. At that time I didn´t know he was into music , but He was some I enjoyed talking to and was always impressed by his pleasing personality. You will be in my prayers Joe Greene

Buddy Griffin was a wonderful friend, Buddy help me in Music and Buddy Griffin got us a Job Wheeling West Virginia, and Jamboree in the Hills show back in the day, that was awesome, Jackie Kincaid

Played a little Music with Buddy. Great Fiddle and Banjo player and a nice guy. He will be missed.

I have many fond memories of my special time with Buddy and his family in his younger days. He loved to go up some holler and find a guy who had made a banjo from an old Buick transmission part. On the return trip there would be a jam session in somebody's repair garage (great acoustics!). He was a great lover of Shakespeare which often showed up in his letters. Music was a gift for Buddy and Buddy was a gift to us all. He will be deeply missed. My prayers for the family, especially...

Buddy miss you! We surely will miss you! I think back of all the good times and what fun we had in those English classes that we had together at Glenville State - will surely cherish the thought of those early days.

Buddy was a big support to me when I served as Mayor of Glenville for 11 years. Always a kind word and smile that made me smile....he will not only be missed by me but many many others. I live with hope of reunion in heaven!! RIP ole Friend...
