Not sure what to say?

Mr. Kimura was my mechanical/blueprint (?) drawing teacher at Holmes Junior High School. I cannot remember the exact name of the class, but I sure do remember him. That is the hallmark of a great teacher and person. I am now 64 and retired from my own career in education. Teachers like Mr. Kimura are sorely needed today. His legacy is one to be emulated. Thank you to his family for sharing him with us.

You made my sister so happy for so long and a better bro.in law would be hard to find, you will be greatly missed.

Photographs of our (Jordan and Paula) last visit to Tryon Dec 2017. Though our visits were infrequent, Buddy was always the perfect host and gentleman, making us feel welcome- part of the family. We will cherish the memories we have of Buddy, and know that there will always be a part of him in you. Our...

Thank you for being a mentor, teacher, coach, and a great human being! It was an honor to be your starting point guard on an undefeated team at Holmes Jr High! Comfort and blessings to the family.

1963 Bryant Jr. High City Basketball Champs. Coach Buddy Kimura

Mr. Kimura Buddy was my P.E. teacher and basketball coach at Bryant Jr. High 1960-63. Because of Buddy and a number of other teachers and coaches I decided to pursue a degree in education. Upon graduating form Eastern Michigan I came back to Flint and became a community school director, teacher and coach. Was always glad to see and talk with him at meetings and athletic games over the years. Thanks Mr. K you will be missed RIP.
