Thirty years, and it seems like yesterday. Buddy left a void in his friends' lives which will never be filled. How special he was! We will never forget.....

Wow - 30 years - I can tell you that everyone in our band (Starz) and our crew and whole organization loved him. He always had a great attitude and outlook on life. Very tragic to lose him. I know we would have still been friends today.

Melinda, I can't believe it's been 30 years since Buddy left us. I was huge pregnant at the time and my heart hurt because I could not travel to be there for you and all your family. I still hurt for all of you today. I know your heart was broken. Buddy was a precious, tender, and caring person. I remember that he gave me my first "real boyfriend" gift at Christmas. He gave me Tabu and I gave him Jade East. That was such a big deal to me. He was so shy and embarrassed to give me...

I knew Buddy back in the late '70's. He was a great guy just to be around, fun to work with and such a very good friend. I miss his upbeat, always positive spirit. Today I'm remembering all of the good times we shared. Buddy's impact on the world while he was here makes me smile. His soul was loveable. It was a privilege to have known him.
