Not sure what to say?

Buddy was a great guy and a SOLID man of God. I'm glad he was my preacher at First Baptist. My sympathies to his family and friends.

Buddy was such a wonderful pastor to me. He´s the pastor who ordained me as a deacon. That was at a time when it was still considered a little bold for a Baptist church to ordain women, but that did not stop Buddy from acknowledging, affirming, and making a place for women to use all their gifts. Thank you, Pastor Buddy, for the many ways you loved your church families. I am blessed to have been a part of your fruitful ministry! And to Becky and family, know of my prayers for you. I am 14...

My heartfelt condolences to the family of Pastor Buddy Nelson. Growing up in Oxford, my family attented First Baptist Church, during his time as pastor. I was saddened to hear of his passing, but can rejoice in the fact that he is now with our Lord and Savior!

I knew Buddy when he was very young and attended Mountain Brook Baptist Church where his father was the minister. I send my condolences to Buddy's family and friends.
