Not sure what to say?

I meant to share this photo on the 22nd, in Memory of Bud, and all he meant to all of us. Also included Norman Bean's excellent tribute painting for Bud. For those who didn't know, Norman was a wrench at Bud's shop for many years while perfecting his artistic abilities. I'm proud to have a print of this hanging in my home.

Bud, mi amigo, it's been ten long years. Still miss you every day. Shalom. PS: the attached is the nicest copy I have of an article Eagle wrote about you and the shop for the Skunk Dots newspaper.

Bud was my grandfather. it still feels weird calling him by his first name. he taught me many things in life, but the most important of them all is how to care for other people. i grew up spending my weekends in the shop, meeting new people and learning what true kindness was. seeing people show this much love to my grandfather that showed me how to be kind, is very surreal. i miss you every day, grandpa.

Bud, it's been nine years. I still remember and miss you every day. Vaya con Dios, mi amigo.

Bud was the kind of guy that you always wished everyone was! From the old Guadalupe shop to swap meets to Sturgis, Bud was always Bud! I remember our very last visit in Sturgis in 2010! We spent about 30 minutes reminiscing about our mutual history and love for our chosen rides, and our love and service to Jesus Christ. We'll have that time again on a Golden Highway in Glory! Thank you for your examples and your kindness, old friend! Til then......Vaya con Dios, amigo!
