Burl Claborn

I am sorry to read of your loss. My Mom (Vera Tillman) and I both worked for him at Post House. He taught me a lot as I was just a teenager. Mom talked about Him and Mrs. Claborn a lot. They were always fond memories for her as she had a great respect for both of them.

So sorry to hear of Burl's passing.

Mr. Claborn touched our family lives in so many ways. He was a role model, friend, our boss at Tanner and Post House Cafeteria, problem solver and a true American hero. These attributes are what made him truly one of a kind. He may be gone but he will not be forgotten. Roberta Hazzard and Family

I am sorry for your loss. I was an employee of Tanners many, many years ago. I had the pleasure of working with Mr. Claborn. He was that wonderful man. He lived a legend by having a business that gave him such a great reputation such as "the best hot dogs in town".

Papa (as we all called him) was a wonderful man. I worked with him and had great conversations with him. He loved his family and his church family. Praying for all of his family at this difficult time. However I know he is in heaven with his lovely wife.

so sorry for claborn sure going to miss him he sure do make good sandwiches he always make some for my family for our trips special for my youth trip at one time he always close to my dad and my family
