Burnell Newman "Bud" Drum

Bud was a great friend and pilot! We shared many moments together as both GM employees and instructor pilots. Bud was an AI aircraft mechanic that had performed many repairs on my flight school aircraft and saved me a lot of grief on one occasion when he repaired a Mooney M20C that one of my students had landed with the gear up. I will always remember Bud as a great friend and am sorry I did not keep more in touch with him since I moved to Florida 8 years ago.
