Burnice cared for my father, Charles Shaw, when he resided with Cynthia Merrill and me in Gum Spring. Although he had other caregivers to help 3 days a week, he dearly loved Burnice and waited for her to come and be with him. She had such a gentle nature that Dad was completely at home with her. She talked with him and shared memories and held his hand as he passed out of this world. She was and is an Angel. Godspeed Burnice, hug my dad for me until I can get there myself. I love you so...
