Miss You Burt

Burt your musical talent covered so much. I am grateful for all the songs you left for us. May you Rest In Peace. My condolence to the family and friends for their loss. JP

Thanks so very much Burt for the many heartfelt touching music that kept us grounded in the 1960s and 70s when the world went through many rough periods void of compassion and love, yes the world needs Love, love true love .

Dear Family: Our hearts are saddened for the loss of your beloved Mr. Bacharach. May the God of tender mercies grant you all love, peace and comfort. We enjoyed his beautiful songs, he touched so many lives with his music! Thanks so much for sharing him with us all!

The man had a gift which, in its prolificity for fifteen years between the late 1950s and early 1970s, I think can be called "fiery." Like any sane human, I love The Beatles, but at most, two, maybe three, Beatles recordings can make a lump in my throat. 90% of Burt Bacharach's work has that effect on me. A House is Not a Home is one of the most moving songs ever written.

To me, the most astonishing thing about his career is the indelibility of his style. I can think of only two...

BURT BACHARACH. WAS SIMPLY ONE OF THE TOP FIVE SONGWRITERS OF ALL TIME, I WAS AT LTNDA RESNICK HOME WHEN HE PERFORMED IN 2013 WITH CAROL BYEAR SAGER I SAID TWO ROWS BEHIND IT BARBRA STREISAND AND JAMES BROLIN, IT WAS SIMPLY FANTASTIC EVENING OF MUSIC THAT WILL LIVE FOREVER..... REST IN PEACE BURT
