Corwin, Burt Harris age 81, died Monday, May 11th. He was a true entrepreneur with an analytical mind and quick wit. Born in St. Paul, raised in Minneapolis, graduated from Blake School, class of 1946. In 1950, after graduating from Stanford University, he married Jeanne Hendel. He joined the Minnesota Air National Guard actively serving during the Korean War in the intelligence department station at Wold-Chamberlain Field. During the "70s", as manager of the Wyman Building, he encouraged art galleries to replace the vanishing manufacturers. The galleries joined together to promote Art Walks. Burt lived 12 years with CIDP but succumbed to cancer. He was preceded in death by his parents, Marcia (Harris) & Roy Corwin, brother, Milton. He leaves his wife Jeanne and three children, Susie (Hart) Kuller, Margie (Neil Schechter) Corwin, and Jim (Nan) Corwin; seven grandchildren, Charlie and Betsy Kuller, Julia and Max Schechter, Alex, Barrett and Hannah Corwin; sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, Betty & Marvin Borman, and Sheila Corwin. Special thanks to the 3rd floor staff at Masonic Day Hospital and to those at the N.C. Little Memorial Hospice. Funeral service THURSDAY, MAY 14TH, 11 AM, TEMPLE ISRAEL, 2324 Emerson Ave. So., Mpls. Heartfelt condolences to the family of Burt Corwin. You must miss him dearly. I remember Burt fondly and with great respect. I learned much about the real estate business, human relations, and decency from Burt and am grateful to him for that experience. I think of Burt often.He was a delightful personality. He was a unique and special man. I hope you find comfort in knowing that he was devoted to you.

I am very saddened to hear of the passing of Mr. Corwin. My name is Tom Harris. I worked for Mr. Corwin as his office assistant at the Wyman Building from 1984 to 1989. I have many fond memories of my time working for him. He was a great man to work for. I am very sorry for your loss.

I had the pleasurable opportunity to work with Burt for a number of years. He was truly insightful, intelligent, and respectful. It was an honor to work with him. It has also been a pleasure to know and work with his son Jim. Burt has left a legacy to be proud of.
