Rest in Peace fellow classmate 1960/1

My sincere condolences to the Lyon family. My family moved to Lancaster in 1967. We lived across the street from Lyon's market. Have many fond memories of Burt and his Mom. If my memory serves me correctly, Burt ran for mayor under the Independent Party. My Dad was also a member He put a " vote for" sign on our front lawn, but for maximum effect, lit it up at night! God's Peace be with all Mr. Lyon's family.

Rest in Peace Mr Mayor &
Classmate of 60'

R.I.P. buddy i have many good memories of us growing up on fairfield ave. since 1946

Dear Lyon family: We moved to the village in '64, immediately became familiar Burt and his mom feeding the community from their corner market. Burt was a generous and compassionate servant to our village throughout his life. His assignment complete, Burt now joins the loved ones at the Lord's table. What a celebration that will be! ...Shalom

To the Lyon Family, please accept our sincere condolences for the loss of Bud. He was an absolutely wonderful man. He cared deeply about the Village of Lancaster and the Lancaster Fire Department and about people in general. He proudly served the Village in many capacities and will not be forgotten. May he rest in peace.
