I so enjoyed sharing your love of good literature, good theater and quality TV.
Your regular visits were a joy and all of us at George Schlatter Productions miss you very much.

Thank you for "Get Smart". It was a wonderful creation of comedic proportion at that time.

Burt lit up the sky. We were friends and colleagues at ABC in the late 50's and
early 60's. We laughed a lot and remained friends until he said "Goodnight." Now I look for him
among the Stars and Smile.

I was so close with Burt for decades. He was a dear, dear friend. He was one of a renown group of people who came out of World War 11, went into the entertainment industry and became a very successful creator, businessman and wonderful father. Burt knew and always espoused the finest qualities in human beings. I moved to CT in the 90's while Burt was still living on his boat. Seeing your picture brings back so many memories! You lived life to its fullest, that's for sure. You were so proud of the kids and I'm sure you were granddad! A truly great friend and, yes, a romantic!
