In 1997 my father 83, was diagnosed with prostate cancer. A referral from his longtime primary care physician, he entrusted his care to Dr. Speiser. I recall at their initial meeting, the look on my dad's face, it was priceless! He was surprised at how young the doctor is.' During his next 29 visits of radiation treatments at St. Joseph's, Dr. Speiser convinced my optimistic father he would be a success story', the same life lessons' Dr. Speiser taught his children, he taught his patients....
