It is with the deepest heartfelt sympathy for th Burton family and his son BJ. Burton was a kind,loving and generous person. It was a previlege and honor to know him.

Rest in peace, my friend. Remembering good times with Burton playing football for the Cougars. You're sharing your music with the angels now.

You will always be in my heart Burton. Thank you for your dear friendship. One of the kindest people I've been blessed with in this life.

Burton wrote some fine tunes and I will always perform them and honor the man who wrote them.

I am proud that I was able to call Burton Sunbury my friend. I am greatly saddened by Burton's death and my thoughts and prayers are with Burton, his family and his many friends. Rest in peace, my friend. Thank you for allowing me to be part of your life.

A sweet and kind soul - we will sure miss him. I'll always remember him coming to my rescue when my car died. Boyfriend out of town; dad in another state; guy friends MIA - Burton was there to help me. What a good guy. I wish him peace. My condolences to his loving family.
