Not sure what to say?

Sorry to hear about Bud. We both played FB for Western in the early to mid 50's. Always had a good relationship with Bud. May GOD bless his soul. Sincere thoughts to his family. Dick Bryck, ' 55

RIP COACH

I was friends with Michelle and had Mr Breed as a math teacher st PNHS. Last time I saw him was in Toronto at the WMU bowl game. He was very passionate about football. Sorry for your loss.

I had privilege of having Bud as my track and football coach at Bangor High School for two years before he left for Portage Northern. He not only taught me a lot about track and football but also taught me a lot about growing up and being a good student and citizen. Over the many years of my life, I have often thought of Coach and his advice. He was a very good man and many of us have good memories. Sorry for your loss. BHS class of 67

I have great memories of Bud as my track and football coach. He had a gift for motivating his athletes as he inspired a devotion to the team and to each other. His sense of humor and his own hard work and dedication rubbed off on his athletes. Rest in peace Tim Cashen. PNHS class of 1971

I graduated from Portage Northern in 1974 and still remember Mr. Breed to this day. Very nice man.

rest in peace Bud

He was a great coach and respected by all

Coach Breed was a great guy. While playing for him at Northern I injured my wrist in a game and he came to my house the next day to check on how I was doing. He was a great coach, phys ed teacher. I am so sorry for your loss.
