Mr. Warenski is one of the main reasons I started the art of knife making. His work will live forever and he will be greatly missed.

Buster was a great artist and a superb craftsman -- and he will continue to inspire anyone who has ever held a piece of steel and dreamed of what it could become.

I wasn't at all familiar with Mr. Warenski's work--I'd seen one of his knives, that's all. When I saw your notice, I went looking for other examples. All I can say is that I'm sorry I did not know his work well while he was alive, because then I could have congratulated him in person. The arts, as well as the knife community, has lost an exceptionally fine creator.

Julie,
Our hearts ache for you and we feel a hollow emptiness as we think of your great loss and ours. Buster was a rare gentle man. His talent is not equalled. He is the "good guy" who wore a black hat! It was with deep regret, we learned of Buster's passing at the Huntin'Expo in Salt Lake on...

My most sincere condolences go out to your family, and I regret even more now that I never had the opportunity to meet Buster during his productive life. His work stands in a class of its own. He will remain in my prayers.
