Not sure what to say?

Byrne was one of the most entertaining and interesting professors I had during my college experience. I still remember laughing with him and other students while he made learning so engaging. A life well lived.

Byrne was instructmental in the development my career teaching career at CSUN. He was kind, gentle and wise. He treated his critics with fairness. He was an exceptional man.

Byrne will be greatly missed by all who knew him, especially his family. Greatfully, we know that Byrne has moved on to a better place and that we can be with him again. What a blessing
that is. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.

It is a blessing to have experienced the friendship of Byrne and his dear Jean at the Autry. This brings my deepest sympathy to Jean and to Byrne's family together with my gratitude that the Autry brought Byrne and Jean into my life.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

Byrne was one of the generous and kind men I have known. Possessed with a keen sense of humor and a gentle nature he provided pleasure to all who knew him.
He was most respected by his colleagues at CSUN

For some moments in life there are no words. My thoughts and prayers go out to Bart and the family. May God watch over you at the difficult time.
