Not sure what to say?

Rest #44 Byron Burney, may you and the family Rest... When I heard my brother had been called home, I stopped and paused as we do when the great ones leave us. To all that read, Byron was/is one of the great ones. Titan's and fellow Alumni from across the 7 Cities, please honor our brother, by getting on board to make a Difference. Byron was truly a Difference maker on and off the court and playing field. I'll always have him in mind when I need that missing teammate, knowing he's there....

Byron has often been in my thoughts during the past year. I’m so sorry he had to
leave us. All my best wishes to
Byron’s family and friends.

Tracy, I'm just finding out about this. I would definitely have been with you at the visitation. Of course, there is shock and sadness at the Y. We are family and send you warm, loving vibes. I have read these comments and feel like I have met Byron through all the tributes. He was obviously special.

General Dr. Daneil Omega Griffin, USAR/USAFNG
sincere deepest condoles to the Burney family with our hearts of Purple & Gold were saddened to hear of your loss. Bryon was a fellow schoolmate and I would see him from time to time during our class reunion that he was always meeting his deadlines for the WVEC-TV-13 at 6:00 P.M. or 11:00 P.M.

We are so very sorry of your loss; he is going to be missed by all who loved and admired him.

My sincere condolences to Byron's family. He was such a great guy, gentle and caring always with something positive to say. Tragedies like this are so hard to accept, but if he were with us, Byron could make us feel better about it. He had his heart, soul and mind in the right place and understood the truths of our existence beyond the here and now. Thanks, Byron!
