Byron you were a very kind soul with a beautiful voice. I am glad I had the pleasure of knowing you.

My condolences to Mr. and Mrs. Roy and family. I met Byron back in 1998 when I joined the SM band here in Texas. As a fellow Louisianian it felt good to have someone I could relate with close by. He was a good musician with a funny, happy demeanor. At the time he would sometimes goof on my tummy saying it was too "powerful" for my shirt. Which, he was probably right. Mr. Richard and Mrs. Wanda I am extending my deepest sympathy for you in your loss. And hoping, too, that comfort and peace may come to you. No words can express the pain that you are going through and my prayer for you is that God will give you strength to face the coming days ahead without Byron's presence.
